Cropping Your Photos

Cropping your photos is a great way to focus on the subject of your photo.  Many times a backround can be distracting or a partially cut-off person or object in the photo draws your eye away from the true subject. Cropping can help you get the photo to showcase the intended subject.

To use templates.

1) place the template over the photo

2) lightly draw the shape on the emulsion surface of the photo

3) remove the template

4) cut the photo on the line you drew with the template

5) wipe off any residue from your pencil
