What to do if you have started scrapbooking and now realize that you need to re-do it?

If you have started a scrapbook and now think that you should re-do it because it isn't safe, first think about why you need to re-do the album. If you used glue stick and the album is safe, but it will start to fall apart in a few years, there is no rush to take the album back apart. It might be best for you to start with your current pictures and them go back and re-do your scrapbook at your leisure. If you used unsafe materials in the book or you have your photos in a magnestic album and it is less than 5 years old, then you are right to start on this project right away. The majority of the damage done to a photo is in its first 5 years, so getting your new photos into a safe album should be a big priority to you.

What methods can be used to take apart the old album? If the photos are not easily removed, try sliding dental floss behind the photo in a gentle, sawing motion. If this doesn't work you can try using a blow dryer on a low setting for a short period of time. There is also a new option, a product called Un-Do claims to safely remove all adhesives with no residue. Un-Do appears to be the perfect solution for all of those stuck photos.
